Dr. KB and Linda Lee Lim Student Award for Healthy Aging Training and Development
Program Overview
The UC San Diego Stein Institute for Research on Aging is pleased to announce a new annual training award established by Dr. KB and Linda Lee Lim to support the next generation of leaders in healthy aging.
The award will provide $2,000 to 10 UC San Diego trainees from across campus and across disciplines to support a training or professional development opportunity related to healthy aging. Healthy aging is a broad, interdisciplinary field that encompasses the biological, physical, cognitive, psychological, social, and environmental factors that contribute to well-being across the lifespan. We welcome applications from trainees working in any discipline who have an interest in advancing our understanding of healthy aging or improving the lives of older adults.

Applicants do not need to submit a detailed budget. We simply ask that you provide a general description of how you anticipate using the $2,000 award and how it will support your training, professional development, research, clinical work or other work related to healthy aging.
Award funds may be used for a wide range of training and professional development expenses, including but not limited to:
- Travel to present research at a conference or scientific meeting
